we arrived to the "wet and windy' Falkland (British) or Malvinas (Argentinean) islands.
On our schedule was a Land Rover excursion to see Penguins.
(one of our main reasons for taking this trip)

The colony is mostly of Gentoo penguins with few King penguins. These are larger than Magellanic penguins.
