We are retired Systems Engineers who spend our time now doing volunteer work, taking care of our rescued cats, sailing and travelling. We also enjoy cooking and developing vegetarian recipes.

Volunteering

Vicki's Vegetarian Web Site - delicious veggie recipes

We both are drivers for the Toronto Wildlife Centre helping to rescue sick, injured or orphaned wildlife

Gilles drives for the Canadian Cancer Society two days each week, transporting patients to the hospital for treatment.

We both volunteer for theCNIB by taking a group of blind people on outings such as the Science Centre, museum, zoo. Vicki also visits a deaf-blind man twicw each week. She communicates with him using a hand language called the two handed manual system.

Outreach
Connection

Vicki writes regular articles on vegetarian food and recipes for Outreach Connection, a newspaper helping the homeless and unemployed.

The most fun volunteer thing we do is delivering Christmas presents for the Toronto Star Santa Claus fund. Gifts are given to disadvanteged children around the Toronto area.
